How is SimplyRx able to offer better prices than my local or big chain pharmacy?
Regular pharmacies operate on a model which lures you in store. They do this because it is costly to deliver medications, and this eats into their bottom line. On top of that, they charge a high dispensing fee and hidden markups on prescription medications to cover the high costs of having a retail storefront in a strip mall or piece of land. We eliminated all overheads by having our store in an industrial area and streamlining our dispensing process. Unlike other pharmacies which operate on a delivery model, we choose to pass on those savings to our patients instead of our pockets. We are able to lower markups and waive fees for our patients as well as offering free delivery to make sure we have the best prices out of every pharmacy. If we can’t save you money from your local pharmacy, we simply won’t switch you over to us, simple as that.
How is SimplyRx different from other pharmacies?
In one way, we are similar. We are a full fledged pharmacy offering medications, consultations, over the counter items and writing and dispensing prescriptions. What makes us different is our model: we are patient first and business second. Pharmacy should be affordable for everyone and we believe that savings should be passed down to patients instead of profits.
How do I change my pharmacy to Simply Rx?
Anybody is welcome to switch over to us. It’s a simple two step process: fill our this form here with your information and we will contact your current pharmacy to transfer your medications over to us. Your doctor can also fax over your prescription to us by faxing us at 905 234 1502. If you have a new prescription in hand just call us at 905 516 5539 and we will come pick up the physical prescription directly from you.
Is delivery actually free and how fast is it?
Yes! Delivery is always free and we send your medications to your door either same day or next business day.
Can my doctor fax my prescription directly to your pharmacy?
That is actually what we prefer so that the process is simple and seamless. You can tell your doctor to fax your prescription to 905 234 1502 and we will contact you once we have received it.
How do I pay if I don't have insurance or if I have a co-pay?
You have a few options: you can e-transfer the cost directly to us or you can pay with a credit card. We do everything in our power to waive all fees and co-pays, but in the instance that there is a cost you can choose to pay whichever way you please. We also accept cash, which you would have to give exact change to our driver.
